RRC Founder Tom Church Dies

The board of the Radio Research Consortium announced the death of founder Tom Church in Idaho this weekend. The 61-year-old had cancer.
Church and his wife, Joanne, founded the Olney, Md.-based RRC in 1981 with the help of public radio to help the industry understand its audience.
Before founding the RRC, both worked at Arbitron.
