In Switzerland, the francophone public-service broadcaster Radio Suisse Romande (RSR) recently replaced all its digital on-air consoles in Geneva and Lausanne.
The refit brings new, networked Serix touch-screen mixers from Mandozzi Electronics. In all, 33 Serix mixers with configurations ranging from 12 to 32 faders, were installed, along with 15 four-fader satellite mixers. It is possible to cascade and connect up to four 112-×-112 stage boxes to the mixer core via Cat5 cabling.
The 5.1-capable Mandozzi surfaces can remotely control each other and can store and recall snapshots from a central memory. They also have an integrated intercom.
