Irish public-service broadcaster Radio Telefís Éireann (RTÉ) is using Chromatec AM-xx audio monitoring systems with remote alarm panels on its national radio output.
The Chromatec AM-xx is designed to allow both visual monitoring and alarms for up to 32 pairs of audio channels on one frame. Each channel can be set to a specific type of program content to maintain the quality and integrity of the monitoring.
This setup suits RTÉ and its four channels of talk, pop music, classical and Irish-language programming, as well as its north/south regional distribution network outputs and mix of stereo and mono transmissions.
