The Radio Television Digital News Association has added Terence Shepherd to its board of directors, representing Region 13, which includes Georgia, Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. He fills the seat vacated by Amy Tardiff, who is chair-elect of the RTDNA.
Shepherd is the news director at WLRN(FM) in Miami, Fla. He joined the station in 2011 as assignment editor and is currently president of the South Florida Black Journalists Association.
He previously served as managing editor a financial website and worked for the Miami Herald as a business and financial editor, focusing on multimedia projects, such as WLRN’s Friday Business Report.
