Kathleen Kirby, legal counsel for the Radio-Television News Directors Association, was inducted into the National Freedom of Information Act Hall of Fame this month.
She was one of 21 inductees. The Hall of Fame was established 10 years ago and is sponsored by organizations that favor expanded access to government information.
In addition to advising RTNDA and its members on legal matters, Kirby writes the Legal Notes column in RTNDA’s Communicator magazine.
