RTNDF to Reach Out to High Schoolers

The Radio and Television News Directors Foundation plans to study high school-level electronic journalism with an emphasis on the First Amendment, free press and journalism ethics.
The RTNDF has received a one-year, $429,000 planning grant from The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation to conduct a study.
Roz Stark, RTNDF executive director stated: “We hope to inform and inspire young people about our free press and its essential role in a democratic society and to invigorate the way they cover the news in their schools.”
