Ruck, Rabell Recovering

Ruck, Rabell Recovering

Broadcast engineer Bill Ruck was hit by a car in Athens, Greece, recently while on site for Olympics-related work. He suffered lung and hip injuries, according to his wife, Siobhan. She told the online newsletter CGC Communicator it would be a few weeks before Ruck can travel back to the United States.
Separately, San Diego broadcast engineer Jack Rabell is in a rehabilitation hospital for physical, speech and occupational therapy. He aspirated fluids into his lungs during a hernia operation on May 1 and since developed pneumonia and a staph infection, according to CGC Communicator.
