Rudman on EAS Oops in Calif.

A recent EAS miscue in Riverside County, Calif., was caused by several factors. One was that a cable company received the alert and “automatically rebroadcast it over their system because their ENDEC was programmed incorrectly,” according to the California Office of Emergency Services.
