Sacks Joins Streamline as VP/COO

Marty Sacks is leaving Electronics Research Inc. to become vice president and chief operating officer of Streamline Publishing, the parent company of Radio Ink magazine.
In his new position, which begins Dec. 1, he’ll be responsible for management and operations of Streamline-owned magazine, Internet, book and conference businesses in radio, digital media and fine art sectors.
“I’ll be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the company,” said Sacks. “This is a huge opportunity for me,” said Sacks, who most recently served as director of sales for ERI.
He’ll oversee the sales efforts in his new position as well.
Sacks, a 30-year industry veteran, also held sales management positions at Telos Systems/Omnia Audio, Pacific Research and Engineering, Northeast Broadcast, Greater Media, and First Media.
In making the announcement, Streamline Publishing Chairman Eric Rhoads stated, “We needed Marty’s strengths to manage our growth and expansion.”
Sacks will open a Streamline office in Baltimore, where he lives with his wife and children.
