Salem Selling Off Three AMs in Jacksonville

Salem Selling Off Three AMs in Jacksonville

Keeping things in the family even as it leaves the market, Salem will sell three AMs in Jacksonville, Fla., to Chesapeake-Portsmouth Broadcasting. The price tag is $2.8 million.
The stations are WZAZ, WJGR and WZNZ. The buyer is controlled by Nancy Epperson, wife of Salem Chairman Stuart W. Epperson and sister of CEO Edward G. Atsinger III.
Salem recently closed on the sale in that market of WBGB(FM) to Cox.
