Salem Will Keep WGUL Calls

Salem says it will keep the call letters for Florida AM station WGUL, which it recently purchased. The station is in Dunedin.
Tampa-area GM Christopher Gould Sr. said in a statement, “It makes sense from a branding and equity standpoint. … WGUL has been a vital player in radio since 1963.”
We told you here earlier that the station is about to begin a new talk lineup that includes Bill Bennett, Laura Ingraham and Michael Medved.
