Independent advertising sales company Interep is losing its sales president. Jeff Dashev and the company are “discussing the terms of the mutually agreed-upon separation” according to both. Dashev is expected to leave by the end of the month to “step back, take a break and consider the range of opportunities in a rapidly changing media universe, radio included,” he said.
Dashev had a 36-year career at Interep; he has bee president of Interep’s Sales Division since 2003. The company credits him with overseeing Interep’s effort to penetrate the planning groups and upper-level agency decision-makers.
Interep has not yet named a replacement.
