Salkowitz Rises to VP/Programming Ops. at Sirius

Sirius has promoted Joel Salkowitz to Vice President of Programming Operations. Salkowitz will be responsible for managing all program operations for Sirius’ 104 streams, and will be directly working with programming managers, format programmers, producers and on-air talent. Salkowitz has been with the satcaster for more than a year as vice president of music programming.
Prior to joining Sirius, Salkowitz worked at Clear Channel Communications as a format director and brand manager, as well as Program Director for WTJM(FM), New York and KTXQ(FM), Dallas. His past experience also includes management, production and programming positions at Fox Television, E.M.I. Records, Westwood One, Emmis Communications, ABC Radio and NBC Radio.
