Neil Salvage has been appointed to the role of head of digital sales at CBS Radio, effective immediately.
Salvage will be responsible for national and local sales efforts related to digital assets including websites, mobile efforts and online streaming. He will report to CBS Radio President, Sales, Michael Weiss.
He was most recently Executive VP, Advertising for CityGrid Media (formerly Citysearch.com). Salvage joined Bellsouth Intelligent Media Ventures in 1996 as an account representative, moving up the ladder through various management titles, eventually becoming director of internet sales prior to leaving in 2004.
He has experience with sales is rooted in the search industry, matching national brands with local consumers. Weiss said: “With his background we’re confident we can acquire new clients whose focus is deeply rooted in digital marketing, and claim a greater share of incremental dollars in 2012 and beyond.”
