SAS Reports First Year of Rubicon Sales

SAS reported sales of its Rubicon system totaling 34 consoles working with 11 32KD Digital Router/Mixers and 51 RioLinks since last year’s introduction.
“The first Rubicon went on the air in the main control room of talk radio giant KABC(AM) Los Angeles,” said the company’s Howard Mullinack. “A second is scheduled to ship for ABC’s KLOS(FM) shortly. Currently underway are major rebuild projects for Clear Channel Las Vegas, Clear Channel Houston, Clear Channel St. Louis, and Radiovisa (Los Angeles). Other systems include WTMX Bonneville Chicago, Premiere Networks (Los Angeles), and Iowa State University.”
