SBE Chapter 39, Tampa Bay area, is conducting a Technology Symposium on Nov. 13, at the Nielsen Co. facility on Booker Creek Blvd. in Oldsmar, Fla.
The symposium will address issues for radio and TV engineers.
For the radio crowd WorldCast Systems will speak on its SureStream codec technology; Nautel will discuss FM/HD Radio transmitter efficiency; GatesAir will be on hand to outline the latest in its SynchroCast effort; and Nielsen, to no surprise will talk about ratings technology.
The $20/$30 member/nonmember fee includes lunch. Giveaways and door prizes available. Students free with ID. Starts at 8:30 a.m.
