SBE officials say their relief fund for the families of broadcast technicians killed in the terrorism attacks has “gone beyond what any of us imagined.”
Counting a large matching gift, the fund totals more than $160,000, according to SBE President John Poray. A second check to the six families is being sent by FedEx this week.
Poray said contributions continue to arrive almost daily. The fund will remain open at least through the end of December.
