The Society of Broadcast Engineers will host the SBE Leadership Development Course Aug. 13–15 in Atlanta.
Led by Purdue Professor of Organizational Leadership and Supervision Rodney Vandeveer, attendees will explore “the Dynamics of Leadership,” their individual “Leadership Behavioral Style,” motivation techniques, team-building, conflict management and other relevant topics.
SBE began offering the course in 1997, covering topics intended to help broadcast engineers who currently have or are working toward managerial responsibilities.
The course contributes three recertification credits under category G for SBE members. For SBE members the cost is $590; nonmembers its $640.
