Eric Schecter returns to CBS Radio in Phoenix as DOE of its three-station cluster, a position he held previously.
He most recently was director of engineering for Lincoln Financial Media’s group of stations in San Diego for four years; before that, he’d been in Phoenix as chief of KMLE for 16 years as well as being market engineering manager for the other CBS properties since 2000.
Asked about other experience, he told RW: “If I detailed all the combinations and permutations of ownership, call letters and group sizes over the years, the readers would never keep up, and it’s all ancient history … so suffice to say I’m back home now with the station I put on the air in 1988. Has it really been 20 years? Wow!”
