Scholarships for Would-Be Connecticut Broadcasters

Deadline is March 21; career interest in engineering is among those that qualify

The Connecticut Broadcasters Association is offering scholarships to prospective Connecticut broadcasters.

Applications are due by March 21.

Scholarships are limited to state residents who are pursuing a career in broadcasting or industry careers in marketing, engineering or electronics. The school of choice may be in Connecticut or outside. Scholarships are for entering freshman through seniors.

Grants from $5,000 for one year up to $10,000 total across four years are available.

The awarding of scholarships is based on career goals, academic performance, extra curricular activities, relevant recommendations and financial need.
