Blaise Scinto has been named special counsel for spectrum policy in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau’s Office of the Bureau Chief. In this new position, Scinto will oversee the Wireless Bureau’s implementation of the Spectrum Policy Task Force’s recommendations and other spectrum policy initiatives.
Scinto will also serve as deputy director of the FCC’s Spectrum Policy Task Force. She has been a supervisor in the policy division of the FCC’s Wireless Bureau since January 2000, serving as deputy division chief and acting division chief. In this capacity, she has been responsible for overseeing policy and rulemakings on spectrum policy, enhanced 911, consumer and accessibility matters, and common carrier issues.
