Chuck Maines has joined broadcast dealer SCMS as a sales rep.
SCMS, headquartered in North Carolina, said Maines “will be providing broadcast equipment sales and expertise in the SCMS Mid-West sales area and beyond.”
Maines began his career at Allied Broadcast in 1978 in the shipping department. He moved into sales, and worked at Allied and successor Harris Broadcast until 1999. He also was a systems manager and product line manager in the broadcast division of Richardson Electronics.
In 2005, as Radio World reported, Maines established his own equipment distribution business, called Mainesource.
His new employer highlighted Maine’s “superb customer service experience and excellent product knowledge.”
