Search for Fritts' Successor to Get Underway

The search for a successor to head the NAB begins in earnest now.
We already knew Eddie Fritts was in his last contract as president/CEO of the NAB. Now he officially has let the board know he would like its members to begin the search for his successor.
Last spring, he signed a two-year contract, which runs until April 2006. After that, he will act as a consultant to the association he has led since 1982.
NAB Joint Board Chairman Phil Lombardo, the chief executive officer of Citadel Communications, and Immediate Past Joint Board Chair David Kennedy, president and chief executive officer of Susquehanna, are co-chairing the search committee. Lombardo and Kennedy will retain an executive search firm to identify possible candidates, according to NAB.
