Second LPFM Filing Window Starts Monday

Beginning Monday, the FCC will accept the 2nd batch of applications from eligible parties who want to own new 100-watt LPFMs. The application window is Aug. 28 to Sept. 1. Non-profit groups in Connecticut, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico, Virginia and Wyoming may file electronically or by mail.
Commission staffers are processing more than 700 applications received during the first LPFM filing window.
