A series of seminars in Oregon next month will include information on LPFM and FM translators, as well as DTV translators.
“These are timely seminars as we make the transition to digital television, as we enter the world of low-power FM and continue to improve in the area of FM translators,” said Larry Bloomfield, managing partner of Bloomfield Enterprises. The event is sponsored by Larcan and Tech-Notes.
Topics include the Larcan-USA LPFM and FM translator line; the FCC NPRM for DTV translators and LPTV; and a case study on how to use the new 8VSB signal from local primary stations to enhance the quality of translator signals.
Seminars are on Nov. 4 in Portland, Nov. 5 in Eugene and Nov. 6 in Medford.
