Kudos for Peter Senger from the ABU.
If you know what DRM is, he’s one of the reasons. The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union has given the chairman of Digital Radio Mondiale, Peter Senger, a lifetime achievement award.
Adilah Shek Omar of Radio Television Malaysia presented the award. He said DRM has the potential to bring about a “revolution” in broadcasting in the Asia-Pacific region.
DRM is a consortium for the development of a world standard for digital radio transmission in the lower frequency bands. Senger has been chairman for 10 years and is stepping down.
