Baltimore-based event audio contractor Maryland Sound International used Sennheiser mics in covering parts of President Obama’s inaugural, notably the swearing in ceremonies.
Sennheiser MKH816 shotgun mics handled the capture of audio from a distance.
According to the manufacturer, Bob Goldstein, MSI owner, said, “To ensure the podium audio would be flawless, we used two Sennheiser 816 shotgun mics on the sidelines as emergency backups.”
