An L.A. software company has introduced a podcast streaming service that helps consumers to listen to podcasts on their cell phones. With this application, says Pod2Mob, users can browse and select shows while listening to the audio from the phone.
The Pod2Mob application downloads updated podcasts and streams them to an applet on the users’ cell phone.
According to Gartner Research, sales of cell phones are set to reach 1 billion annually by 2009, when nearly 40 percent of the world’s population will own a mobile handset.
