Social media ratings and audience measurement startup Share Rocket has named former CBS Network President of Affiliate Relations Diana Wilkin as its new president of broadcast.

The announcement comes shortly after news that Share Rocket had secured $5 million in Series A funding. The platform offers broadcasters and digital publishers a way to quantify their social media effort, benchmarked against their peers. Share Rocket also provides market intelligence and actionable insights that drive social media ROI, the company explained in a press release.

Wilkin’s job will be to help to foster relationships with broadcasters, as the company attempts to help them to measure and monitor the social reach and influence of their content, talent and stations.

“Share Rocket is the solution to social media measurement,” Wilkin said in the release. “The company is now poised to expand and give content providers the ability to maximize monetization and I am thrilled to be joining a team that can make that happen.”

Wilkin has also held roles as GM/VP at six networks affiliated television stations, as well as senior positions at Fox Broadcasting Co.
