The Georgia Radio Hall of Fame has named Mamie Shepherd to its board of directors. She is the program coordinator for Seacrest Studios at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, N.C.
Shepherd is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in digital and broadcast journalism. She worked as an intern for WSTR(FM) in Atlanta and also held a three-year internship with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation during college.
After graduation, the foundation hired her to open Seacrest Studios at the Levine Children’s Hospital. She coordinates programming and serves as on-air talent for the broadcast media center at LCH. Her work requires travel, and she lives in both Atlanta and Charlotte.
