The DN-C640 Network CD Player from Denon is a single-rack-unit model that reads CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW discs.
The unit supports CD-DA (.cda), WAVE(.wav), MPEG-1/2 Layer III (.mp3), MPEG-1 Layer II (.mpg) and Windows Media Audio (.wma) formats. Features include a slot-in CD/DVD drive, pitch control (± 12%), quick replay feature, end monitor and user-selectable finish mode. The player also features cue to music with a dedicated button, program play and balanced audio output.
Meanwhile, Marantz, owned by the same company, will show the CDR310 CD Field Recorder, which offers digital hard-disk recording in a variety of formats. Features include instant CD burning, one-touch record and various record modes including Pre-Record, Background Record, Silent Skip, Adjustable Auto Track.
