Comrex Makes New Technology, Reseller Announcements

Its ACCESS and BRIC-Link IP audio codecs get a firmware update

At the start of the 100th NAB Show, Comrex has announced several new technology and reseller lineups.

The company announced that its ACCESS and BRIC-Link IP audio codec customers can update to firmware Version 4.6 to get the latest HTML5 compatibility updates as well as new features like GUI-based firmware. In addition, BRIC-Link III customers can get access to Version 5.0-p2.

Comrex video IP codec customers, including LiveShot Portable and LiveShot Rackmount customers, can now access a new HTML5-based interface for monitoring and control from HTML5-capable browsers.

The company also announced that it is now serving as a reseller of Peplink connectivity solutions. Peplink/Pepwave modems and routers can help customers create solid links between remote and studio locations. One of those solutions is the new Peplink BR-1 Mini Core — a single modem, three-port Ethernet cellular data router with dual SIM slots designed for fixed locations where a cellular data link can complement a Comrex Connect modem, or Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.

Comrex is currently at the NAB Show in Las Vegas at Booth C2216 in the Central Hall.
