Features include a distortion-controlled pre-emphasized final limiter/clipper; four-band AGC to add consistency and build density before the limiter stages; four-band peak limiter using feedback limiters for the lower two bands (optimized for bass punch and lower midrange warmth); and feed-forward limiters for the upper two bands.
Additional highlights include a time-aligned, dynamically flat crossover and selectable phase router. Omnia One is now shipping.
The company also is featuring Omnia.8X, which processes eight stereo audio channels at once. Features include three bands of AGC for each channel; lots of presets; a look-ahead limiter and Omnia Bass Management.
Additional highlights include an Axia Livewire interface for single-cable audio, control and data connection to IP-Audio networks. Users can combine Omnia.8X with an Axia Audio Node for standard AES-3 or analog I/O.
Omnia says the unit’s flexible architecture can be used for multiple processing purposes: FM, AM, HD Radio and Internet. Omnia.8X also is currently shipping.
