Sign Up for MMTC Access To Capital and Telecom Policy Conference

Twenty financial institutions and 100 entrepreneurs will gather at Washington’s Westin Grand Hotel July 10-11 for the minority media and telecom financing event: the MMTC Access to Capital and Telecom Policy Conference.
MMTC Executive Director David Honig stated, “the greatest impediments to minority entrepreneurship are access to capital, access to deal flow, and regulatory initiative. These issues will be the focus of the MMTC Conference, which will bring together minority entrepreneurs, bankers, private equity firms, investors, brokers, engineers, attorneys and regulators for two days of learning and networking.”
Topics to be discussed include: video competition, network neutrality, universal broadband, electronic redlining, cable a la carte, indecency, and ownership consolidation. Industry, government and civil rights leaders will address all of these issues at the MMTC Conference, with a twist: speakers will address how minorities, new entrants and underserved communities will fare depending on which policy outcomes prevail.
The program and registration materials are available at www.mmtconline.org.
