The IEEE says it is offering 50% discounts for new members who join at the NAB Show. Plus, it adds, it is offering additional membership in its Broadcast Technology Society for $7.50.
IEEE membership includes attendance to local events and activities, discounted membership to individual societies, and a range of educational opportunities including conferences and presentations. Members receive the latest industry news from IEEE, IEEE Spectrum, IEEE Standards News and The Institute.
In addition, current members who stop by the IEEE BTS booth will receive a special discounted price to attend the society’s Annual Broadcast Symposium, a technical conference on broadcasting technology. The three-day symposium, Oct. 14–17, in San Antonio, offers attendees a variety of informative tutorials and technical sessions.
