Sirius Adds 359,000 Subscribers

Sirius Satellite Radio added 359,000 subscribers in the recent quarter, a 97% increase from the same period a year ago. Sirius ended the quarter with 2.17 million subscribers and says it is on target to reach 3 million by year-end.
XM the day before said it had added more than 617,000 subscribers during Q3 for a total of more than 5 million.
