Sirius Adds a Wise Guy

Call it the Van Zandt connection. Sirius Satellite is reaping the harvest of its new relationship with Steven Van Zandt.
“The Wiseguy Show” will air Saturday afternoons, the first program created for Sirius by Van Zandt’s Renegade Productions.
The three-hour “celebration of Italian-American culture” will be hosted by actor Vincent Pastore, who plays Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on the HBO series “The Sopranos.”
The company said the show will feature discussion about current and popular events, as well as music by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Al Martino and others.
Van Zandt is a consultant to Sirius and will serve as the show’s executive producer. He also appears on “The Sopranos.”
