Sirius Adds Men’s Division 1 College Hoops to Program Slate

Sirius Satellite Radio has a multi-year deal with the Collegiate Conference Group, which represents schools from 11 NCAA Division I conferences, to broadcast some regular season and conference tournament men’s basketball games.
The move is in addition to collegiate basketball the satcaster carries, such as its 27 college hoops lineup and coverage of the Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.
New to the Sirius roster are select men’s basketball games representing schools from the Big West, Colonial Athletic Association, Horizon League, Metro Atlantic Athletic, Mid-American, Missouri Valley, Ohio Valley, Southern, Sun Belt, West Coast and Western Athletic conferences.
Sirius said college hoops fans can hear 240 such games on its service in January.
Leading up to March Madness, Sirius will carry live play-by-play radio broadcasts of all games of the Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. Games from every round will be offered to Sirius subscribers in their entirety, with no blackouts, as part of its basic package.
