Sirius Satellite Radio is beefing up its programming team. Sirius has added Larry Rebich as Vice President Programming Acquisition and Market Development, and Jay Clark as Vice President of Non-music Content.
Rebich joins Sirius from Sekani Moving Media, and will be responsible for programming development and acquisitions; record label and artist relations; plus advertisement and sponsorship sales for the News/Talk area.
Rebich marketed and managed first-wave C-band home satellite distribution at Viacom for Showtime Networks and MTV Networks, before forming his own company, NarrowCast Networks.
Previously at WRKO(AM), Boston, Clark brings more than 30 years of radio experience to Sirius, where he will be responsible for developing new talk programming and other non-music initiatives, from a content and creative perspective.
Clark’s career includes stints at WABC/New York, KLSX/Los Angeles,
WTKS/Orlando and WTIC/Hartford. He was also Vice President/General Manager for the Sports Fan Radio Network, Vice President of Programming at Winstar New Media and Vice President Broadcast at Comedy World Radio Network.
Music programming will continue to be directed by Joe Capobianco, Senior Vice President of Music Content and Programming Operations for Sirius.
