Sirius Satellite Radio has appointed William Gerski as vice president, independent distribution. Gerski is responsible for managing sales agreements and relationships with independent dealers and distributors throughout the country.
A 32-year veteran of cable and satellite television, Gerski previously
served as senior vice president, sales and marketing, at Golden Sky Systems
Inc., a Kansas City-based provider of satellite television services and an
exclusive DirecTV provider in rural areas. In addition, he served in
senior management positions with Adelphia Cable Communications, Viacom, Warner-Amex Cable, Times-Mirror and TCI Cable.
He reports to Stan Kozlowski, senior vice president of retail distribution.
