Sirius Has 16,000 Subscribers, XM Has 201,000

In releasing its third-quarter numbers, Sirius Satellite Radio also said it had about 12,000 subscribers as of Sept. 30, and about 16,000 subscribers a month later. It launched nationally this summer.
By contrast, XM Satellite Radio ended the quarter with 201,544 subscribers, having added 64,836 subscribers in the prior three months.
