At Sirius' annual shareholder's meeting on Tuesday, stockholders pressed company President/CEO Joe Clayton about when the satcaster is going to catch up, in terms of radios for sale, and subscribers, to rival XM Satellite Radio. Clayton said Sirius is a generation behind XM on its electronic devises, according to Reuters, but that the company has moved quickly to get radios in stores by the holidays.
A Sirius boombox could ship by Christmas, said Clayton.
Sirius predicts the company will have 200 million subscribers by year-end.
