Sirius Satellite Radio has completed in-orbit testing of its third satellite, launched Nov. 30. Payload and signal testing showed all systems performing well. The company developing satellite-delivered digital audio broadcasting has begun end-to-end testing and integration of its receiver, studio, transmission and customer service systems.
Sirius plans extensive demonstrations of its system and receivers at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas Jan. 6-9.
