Sirius, XM Court Honda

Both companies developing satellite-delivered digital audio broadcasting are talking to Honda about incorporating their radios into the model year 2002 Honda and Acura lines. Both Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Satellite Radio expect an agreement to be finalized soon.
If finalized, a deal with Honda would be the first with a carmaker since XM and Sirius worked out a so-called interoperability agreement, in which each pledged to work with the other to develop a receiver able to receive signals from both companies.
Separately, XM has an agreement with a General Motors subsidiary, OnStar, to develop and market telematics and data applications for XM receivers.
