Sirius, XM Enhance Web Sites

Both Sirius and XM have beefed up their Web sites to make it easier for consumers to navigate and purchase the services.
Sirius redesigned its site, offering live streaming of its 60 commercial-free music channels. President/CEO Joe Clayton said entire songs are being streamed, not just clips.
The site, www.siriusradio.com allows consumers to subscribe and manage Sirius accounts and interact with customer service representatives
24 hours a day, seven days a week.
To listen to Sirius music on the site, visitors must sign-up to
become “Sirius Insiders.”
Sirius has chosen Microsoft Windows Media Technologies to stream its 60 live music channels.
XM added several features, including weekly programming highlights, on-line voting for songs to play on XM’s Top 20 channel, and an expanded list of retailers on XM’s dealer-locator search engine. Subscribers can now also activate their XM radios on the Web site, www.xmradio.com.
