Satcaster SiriusXM subscribers now have access to content from The Vertical Podcast Network, due to a deal between SiriusXM and DGital Media.
The Vertical Podcast Network is an on-demand audio series focused on pro basketball, recorded in and out of basketball season. It is led by Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo! Sports and features individual podcast series’ with Chris Mannix and pro ballplayer J.J. Redick, will air every weekday at 3 p.m. on Sirius Channel 214 and XM Channel 203, as well as on the SiriusXM app (Channel 967).
“Adrian, Chris and J.J. offer pro basketball fans exceptional reporting and insight, making The Vertical Podcast Network an excellent addition to SiriusXM,” said Steve Cohen, SiriusXM’s SVP of Sports Programming.
Effective Aug. 15, “The Vertical” joins a lineup on the channel that also features “The Dan Patrick Show” (9 a.m.–12 p.m. ET) and “The Rich Eisen Show” (12–3 p.m. ET).
“This partnership matches premium content with a premium distribution outlet in order to give basketball fans, and fans of sports in general, this incredible inside look at the game from those who influence it, week-in, week-out,” said DGital Media Chief Content Officer Chris Corcoran.
