Beginning with 2015 model-year vehicles, customers buying any Lincoln brand car equipped with navigation will receive a free six-year subscription to SiriusXM Traffic and SiriusXM Travel Link.
“Lincoln customers value quick, easy and seamless access to information,” says Lincoln Group Marketing Manager Andrew Frick, who says the partnership is “an excellent example of the intuitive, customer-focused technology” the automaker provides.
Lincoln, Ford’s luxury automotive brand, has offered the satellite radio service on its vehicles since 1999.
SiriusXM Traffic and SiriusXM Travel Link features include alternate route guidance and mapping, updates on accidents and road closures, fuel prices, weather, movie listings and sports scores.
Customers will also receive a free six-month subscription to SiriusXM’s All Access Package, which includes access to NFL games, Howard Stern, NASCAR races, Oprah Radio, MLB Network Radio and SiriusXM Internet Radio on smartphones and other connected devices as well as online at siriusxm.com.
