SixMix Offers USB Digital Audio Interface

It's a "missing link that turns a PC or laptop computer into a complete broadcast studio."

Henry Engineering says it will begin shipping its SixMix USB broadcast console in January.

The company describes it as the “missing link” that turns a PC or laptop computer into a complete broadcast studio.

SixMix is a 10-input, six-channel broadcast console roughly the size of a laptop computer. Henry says the most unique feature is its integral USB digital audio interface. Connect a USB cable to a PC or laptop and SixMix records, edits and plays digital audio, making it suitable for use with radio automation, digital production, news editing, Webcasting or as a self-contained emergency studio.

Additional highlights include a cue bus with cue speaker, monitor system with mic-on muting, a mix-minus output and guest headphone facilities with full talkback.

SixMix lists for $1,195.
