Slacker introduced a portable version of its radio service called Slacker Premium Radio.
The company offers what it calls “personalized radio without the work.” It is taking orders for the portable version of its personalized radio service which uses WiFi to update stored radio playlists. The portable comes with three levels of capacity: 2 GB for around $200, 4 GB for about $250 or 8 GB for around $300.
