The Slovak public-service broadcaster Slovensk?ý? Rozhlas (SRo) is deploying a new archiving system from NOA Audio Solutions.
The installation of the system in Bratislava, Slovakia, was completed in march and includes a complete NOA medaiARC solution and IngestLine digital transcription system.
“Our choice of the NOA mediARC solution was a logical one because the company’s outstanding reputation has made it the leader in quality-controlled digital archiving,” said SRo Technical Director Robert Oravec.
Oravec also noted that mediARC provided the sort of flexible metadata structure for describing audio that was needed to help archive the broadcaster’s audio history. Future plans include near-term integration of mediARC with existing automation systems at SRo.
